Manic Monday ~ "Injury Can Be A Beautiful Thing"
Monday, July 31, 2017
Well, the Bix 7 road race has come to an end. And as I reel in the individual stories of how racers did, I am also hearing about a few injuries some have endured either during their training times or during the race itself. Needless to say, it's frustrating for any injury to take place, but it's also a time to re-evaluate the physical capabilities one may or may not have. I just recently I found a great article on this very subject. For today's post,
Manic Monday ~ Mental Music to Motivate
In my "younger" days, every Monday morning use to take off at 5:00 am for a 10-12 mile country run to start my week. There are social events of all kinds and most all of them incorporate a great deal of food. You know, grilled burgers, brats, chips, potato salad, pie, and much more! (**Read last year's blog entry for the 4th) Celebrating the 4th should be festive as we are reminded of our independence as a nation, and our freedom
